Hotel EUROPÄISCHER HOF Bad Gastein receives its fifth star
This now places the luxurious hotel among the top 6 of the best holiday hotels in Salzburger Land
Gasteinertal is one 5-star hotel richer. At the start of May Hotel EUROPÄISCHER HOF Bad Gastein was awarded that coveted fifth star. After a two-year quality offensive the hotel now radiates a new splendour and as a result has also won over the assessment board from Vienna's Chamber of Commerce. In the strict assessment criteria the hotel scored points in particular for its spacious leisure and beauty facilities, its exceptional wellness range - including its own thermal indoor pool - exceptional service provided by highly qualified and committed staff, as well as in guest satisfaction.
Manager Dietmar Wernitznig, host in the Hotel EUROPÄISCHER HOF had this to say about the award: 'The award of a fifth star is a great honour and also a great incentive for the hotel and my team – and for me too - to further invest in the quality and the service we offer. I am especially pleased that we have received this positive rating prior to the sporting highlight of the summer in Gasteinertal. This means that world class players and visitors to the WTA tennis tournament, the NÜRNBERGER Gastein Ladies, which will be held from 9th to 17th June 2012 on the centre court in our hotel, and has recently been chosen as the most picturesque pro tennis tournament, will now be accommodated in a five star establishment.
The luxurious Hotel EUROPÄISCHER HOF***** is owned by NÜRNBERGER insurance group which has been committed to Gasteinertal for years. This German insurance group, which has been in existence since 1884, is also present in Austria next to the hotel with its subsidiary NÜRNBERGER Versicherung AG Österreich (NVÖ). Among other things they are title sponsor of the NÜRNBERGER Gastein Ladies tournament as well as patrons of the Gluck Research Centre at Paris Lodron University of Salzburg.
