Arrival by car to the Hotel EUROPÄISCHER HOF
Your direct way to Bad Gastein, Salzburger Land
Important advice for guests in winter:
The 5-star Hotel is easily accessible in almost all weathers – no mountain pass road, only about 1 hour by car away fromSalzburg.
Arriving from Germany, take the A8 and cross the border at Bad Reichenhall/Walserberg, in direction Salzburg. Just before Salzburg take the 311 A-Road via St. Johann/Pongau in direction Innsbruck/Zell am See. At Lend the 167 A-Road forks off left to Gasteinertal/Villach. After the tunnel the Gastein valley opens up. Drive through Dorfgastein and Bad Hofgastein in direction Bad Gastein. After Bad Hofgastein (after about 2 km) take the fork to the left (hotel route – red arrow) to Bad Bruck. Turn left here. Go straight ahead for about 2 km and then turn right after the bridge across the Gasteiner Ache. After about another 100 m you will find the Hotel EUROPÄISCHER HOF on the left side.
A1 Westautobahn motorway – change to A10 Tauernautobahn motorway atSalzburg– take the exit to Bischofshofen.
Villach– Spittal/Drau – Mallnitz – car shuttle train/Tauernschleuse – Böckstein – Bad Gastein – in direction Bad Hofgastein – fork off right to Badbruck/Kötschachdorf.
