The bridge is the first chain bridge at 2,300 m above sea level and is also accessible during the winter. A walk on the bridge is an unmissable experience for everyone who is free from giddiness. The chain bridge bounces gently with the wind while you can enjoy views down into the 28 m abyss.
Right opposite the chain bridge you will find the “Glocknerblick” viewing platform. On a round plateau with a 7 m diameter you have free views all around you. And then you will spot him – Austria’s highest mountain – the Großglockner. With 3,798 m the mountain lays in front of you in his majestic and impressive manner.
