The gateway to the Gastein ski world
Right where Alpine skiers, cross-country skiers, winter hikers and ski tourers meet up, a new ski centre was set up.
An all-round poetic, harmonious sculpture has developed, which offers an attractive enrichment especially from the vantage point of the ski runs.
The central building with its various service facilities accommodates the guests with its high level of comfort and functionality. The winning project of the Viennese architect Martin Kohlbauer is parallel in design, material and colours of a new generation in harmony with the landscape.
The focal point is the covered and consequently weatherproof "Agora". It is an area of historic importance and modern impression, you can stroll and converse here. The sunlight is guided direct into the internal room via a towering light tower. From here the guest can get to all the important areas: Cash desk-Info, sports shop with sales, service and hire, ski school and kid’s area.
