Cycle paths and mountain bike routes with varying degrees of difficulty and circular routes on delightful cycle paths are suitable for touring bikes, trekking and mountain bikes, as well as racers. The Hotel EUROPÄISCHER HOF is your ideal starting point for solo tours of all degrees of difficulty and also for family excursions. Bikes with child seats and helmets are available. Our sports instructors will help you choose the bike to suit you. If there is not a bike suited to you, we have competent hire centres such as the sports shop Hervis in Bad Gastein and Sport Fleiss in Bad Hofgastein.
Excerpt from the tour diary after a morning start in the Hotel EUROPÄISCHER HOF:
…before I reached the valley floor Sportgastein there was a little challenge to overcome, since the path got a little steeper. However it was worth the effort as I was then able to enjoy the magnificent view of nature with all my senses.
Arriving at my destination a wonderful view of "Nassfeld" and its valley section awaited me. I found myself at 1590 metres altitude, surrounded by glacier mountains from the "Schareckgruppe" and all the climbing was behind me. Now it was time to quench my thirst and to look back on the climb in quiet once again, before my thoughts turned to the challenging descent.
