Collect "mountain points"!
Day 1
Upon you arrival in the hotel you get your deluxe room. At 7.00 p.m. your evening together begins with a first-rate Gala-Dinner, as befits the respective occasion, in a restaurant in the hotel reserved exclusively for you.
Day 2
After a gourmet breakfast your tour guide cordially welcomes you in the hotel lobby. The Hotel EUROPÄISCHER HOF provides you with mountain bikes. Together with the hotel sports instructor you go to the old centre of the Böckstein mountain settlement.
You start at 1100 metres altitude. Above the Evian spring and to the Asten Alp you cycle the wide, slightly ascending path to Kesselfall. The particular charm of the valley here are the roaring water falls, the Schleierfall and the Bärenfall, which can be heard from far away.
Before you reach the valley floor Sportgastein, there’s a small challenge, since the path gets a bit steeper here. Newcomers can push their bike for a short section, so they can enjoy the dreamy view of the natural surroundings with all their senses.
At your destination the wonderful view into the “Nassfeld” and its valley recess awaits you. Here you are at 1590 metres altitude, surrounded by the glacial mountains of the „Schareckgruppe“. Enjoy the high lying valley on a level route.
For refreshments there is a stop-off in of the many Alpine huts. Specialities from the Gastein Valley take care of your bodily needs.
Enjoy the charming run on the same route back - over Böckstein, through the town centre of Bad Gastein to the hotel. The previously named "Tour Master" sets the pace – and is never to be passed!
Arriving at the hotel you have plenty of time to relax: with the mist shower of the rock grotto, the thermal indoor pool (7x16 metres, 31°C), the Finnish or the organic herb sauna, the Roman steam bath and the light infused open air alcove.
In the Restaurant in the evening you’ll be indulged with a "Salzburg Buffet" typical of the region. Enjoy Austrian specialities and finish off the day with good company and nice discussions in the Gastein Klause or in the Achenbar.
Day 3
On this morning after breakfast the natural surroundings beckon yet again. A small recce through the Kötschachtal in Hohe Tauern National Park. In the „Prossau“ there is a fantastic break prepared for you. Travel back by horse-drawn carriage. Arriving at the "green tree" a shuttle-bus takes you back to the Hotel EUROPÄISCHER HOF again. Well boosted you then make your trip back home.
