Festive Days in Gastein Valley

All over again every year …
and all over again this wondrous sense of suspense and expectation, of warmth and satisfaction. Christmas is here.

Here in Gastein Valley nature has made arrangements early.
Since around the peaks there is a cotton-like wad of white, and a beaming blue sky with a stunning cloudscape, arches over the wide valley.
A splendid backdrop for romantic sleigh rides through the snow-covered high forest, blissful toboggan rides and ski tours through one of the most beautiful High Alpine landscapes in Europe, for guided snow hikes through the wintry valley - for the person, who prefers things to be a little calmer.

When the sun dips behind the peaks and the day slowly draws to a close, that is the time for mulled wine and tea by the crackling fire. The time for traditional music during winter time in Gastein Klause.
That is Christmas time in Gastein Valley - really enchanting. From the start of advent until the Three Kings in the New Year.

All over again every year …
Waiting on the Christ Child and bright children’s eyes full of expectation, reflecting the flame from the candles. “Zenith for the senses” in the Hotel EUROPÄISCHER HOF. Merry Christmas, with bright lights in the Christmas tree, festive menus and night-time Christmas mass, all in the Gastein tradition.

All over again every year …
Out with the ‘old' and in with the ‘new'.
And with that again awaiting the magnificent spectacle of light, when the old year takes its leave from the Gastein Valley.
We celebrate it with a splendid gala menu and a glittering New Year’s Eve ball together with you, our guests.
All over again every year.
