Hole out!
Golfers will love and enjoy it: the golf season in the Gastein Valley 18-hole course is from the middle of April to the end of October. Embedded in a dreamy setting with an all-encompassing mountain panorama, right on the doorstep of the Hotel EUROPÄISCHER HOF, in the refreshing and invigorating mountain air in the Gastein Ache.
Day 1
Upon you arrival in the hotel you get your deluxe room. At 7.00 p.m. your evening together begins with a first-rate Gala-Dinner, as befits the respective occasion, in a restaurant in the hotel reserved exclusively for you.
Day 2
Fortified with a gourmet breakfast, you are cordially welcomed by the Head-Pro to the 18-hole-Golf course, directly at the Hotel EUROPÄISCHER HOF.
Newcomers to the sport get to know the basics, everything you need to know and fascinating facts about golf. You get plenty of opportunity to practise teeing off with the hire clubs and practise balls. You learn about the correct golf swing and the short game as well as the getting your first taste of the game on the course. Those who are advanced and experts get to hone their swing and their own performance. We are happy to organise your own tournament for you.
At lunch time a golf-picnic awaits you.
After lunch a small hike is planned. A shuttle takes you to Klammstein. From there you will hike on a educational nature trail and after half an hour get to the entrance of the cave „Entrischen Kirche“ in Luxkogel at 1040 metres.
This natural cave at the beginning of the Gastein Valley – the periphery of the Hohen Tauern – is the largest and most significant cave in the Salzburg Central Alps as well as one of the oldest natural monuments in Salzburg.
Returning from a day in the fresh mountain and cave air hotel’s Gastein Spa then has relaxation and recuperation on offer: with the mist shower of the rock grotto, the thermal indoor pool (7x16 metres, 31°C), the Finnish or the organic herb sauna, the Roman steam bath and the light infused open air alcove.
In the Restaurant in the evening you’ll be indulged with a ‘Salzburg Buffet’ typical of the region. Enjoy Austrian specialities and finish off the day with good company and nice discussions in the Gastein Klause or in the Achenbar.
Day 3
After your gourmet breakfast the golf course invites you to have another round.
To keep your strength up at lunch-time there is a hearty break prepared for you in the Gastein Klause. You are then relaxed and well refreshed for your trip back home.
