Cross-country skiing services

If you bring your own cross-country skis, you can conveniently store them overnight in our ski cellar. If you are travelling without equipment, you can hire cross-country skiing equipment for a fee.

For all those that are at the beginning of their Nordic skiing career, we recommend a course at the Gastein cross-country ski school. Those who are interested can also get a taste of the sport of biathlon here. Laser biathlon is also available at the Bad Hofgastein facility.

Find out now about the current conditions of the cross-country ski tracks in the Gastein valley. Whether classic cross-country skiing or skating, the Gastein valley offers you a marvellous cross-country skiing region with different levels of difficulty.

Depending on the snow conditions, around 45 kilometers of groomed cross-country trails are available – stretching from Dorfgastein to Sportgastein. Look forward to varied routes, two illuminated night trails, and even a trail specially designed for dogs.
